I believe that by expanding your background the chances of making noticeable contributions to the human understanding of the world increase. My predoctoral research at VioBio lab on multifocal solutions for presbyopia provided me with a deep and broad knowledge in the optics of the eye. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) I am expanding my knowledge of optics to the field of fixational eye movements. I chose to come to the BNI because it hosts one of the most renowned research teams in the field of fixational eye movements in the world. By combining both fields I aim to address questions related with the optics of the eye with a neuroscience approach. Full CV
